Out of the 20 properties Ms Mahoney put to auction between June and September, 15 were sold either at auction or prior to the event.Julie Mahoney said she expected to see the success continue in the coming months.“Character homes which have been my specialty over my 12 years in real-estate have always favoured well and I do believe the amount of new projects on the horizon for Townville have certainly contributed to a positive market sentiment,” Ms Mahoney said. “There’s not as much stock on the market at the moment and good quality properties will always sell particularly in the inner city properties.“I’m expecting to see an increase in stock with the return of more homes coming back on the market after the floods and traditionally toward the end of transfer season we see a lot more stock on the market.”At the most recent auction event which was held at The Ville on Monday, four out of the four properties put up for auction sold under the hammer by Ray White Julie Mahoney. The properties were all on the market for about 2 to 3 weeks prior to auction and the sales results ranged from $170,000 for a two-bedroom apartment in Belgian Gardens to $782,500 for a heritage Queenslander at 19 Sheehan St in the same suburb.
