He said access to pubic buildings is among challenges faced by disabled people.“There are a lot of keep clear in the city and it is making things very difficult to move around. I have been having a lot of problems moving around the city. Sometimes you want to go to the supermarket and the doctor and it’s difficult,” he said.St Louis is suggested a specific card for disabled persons to give priority at the doctor’s office and other businesses.“That card would ensure that the disabled are given priority over those who are healthier than us. Also I think that a wheelchair sign should be given to people who are wheelchair bound to attach to their vehicle.In the grocery stores, the managers should also have a wheelchair sign so that we won’t follow the normal line.” he added.Dominica Vibes News Sharelast_img
