Craven Cottage confirmed for Ireland v Italy friendly

first_imgTHE FAI HAS announced that Ireland will meet Italy at London’s Craven Cottage on 31 May (7.45pm).The Boys in Green are lining up a number of friendly games for the end of the season and a visit of Turkey to Dublin on 25 May will be followed by a fixture against the Azzurri at Fulham’s home ground six days later.On the same night, Wembley Stadium hosts the re-match between Carl Froch and George Groves.It will be the 14th time that the teams have faced each other — the last meeting ended in a 2-0 win to Cesare Prandelli’s side at Euro 2012.While they have yet to be confirmed,  Ireland are also in talks to play Costa Rica and Portugal in the US on 7 and 10 June.Tickets for the game, starting at £10 for U16s and £25 for adults, are available through Fulham’s ticket office by calling +44 (0)843 208 1234, or by accessing their online portal: from Monday, March 24 at 10am.
